seasons greetings, everyone!

The Christmas cards are a bit pricey (and ship from Australia), but it's for a good cause and the graphic speaks volumes.

May you all spend a warm and loving holiday with your families and friends!

It always gives me pause the amount of songs concerning Peace, Love, Joy...and yet these Christians turn a blind eye at what is going on in the world, as if it doesn't matter-the government will take care.
Thanks for the comment and hope you're having a Merry Christmas.

Merry Christmas to you QRS, I've had a wonderful day with family and friends and food and boy oh boy am I grateful!

there are so many in this world barely staying alive, I pray that the suffering will end. Sadly, it'll get worse before it gets better.

Well, I've quit my job, I'm selling my car and getting a camper van, and moving to some small town where I will hopefully find some way to survive as I doubt I'll be able to live off my own homegrown tomatoes.

I'm leaving the freeways, the communte, the gasoline-burning, the toxic burritos, and all the car culture that is LA (as well as my direct deposit paycheck and health benefits) and going to try to live in a quiet tiny town somewhere...... where.... I haven't found yet.

I'm changing my life completely due to the new knowledge of peak oil and financial hanky-panky of the Federal Reserve. It's so crazy because I am just a city gal from Philly and now I'm getting all survivalist.

I may fail, but what the hell. Shlepping back and forth two plus hours a day on the 10 freeway was just more than I could bear.

I've got enough savings to make it for a while unemployed, but I sure hope something comes along my way to replace it!

I hope y'all have an exciting new year as me too!

Don't worry about the future, Ruby. That's in God's hands.

All any one of us has is the present, so we must make the most of it.

If you remained in LA, you would have been living for someone else and for some unknown future that's constantly manipulated by greedy individuals.

Instead, you are going to blaze your own trail, come what may. You made the right choice.

I hope that you stay in touch and keep us apprised of your adventures!

God bless!

thanks for the encouragement, Mr. Wave. I'm excited about blazing a new trail, make or break. Life is short....

I was watching the TV discovery channel after cleaning up my holiday fun mess, and it was a show on early humans and how they lived during the last great Ice Age. It was interesting cause I've been reading a book about the Ice Age cave painters who lived about 40,000BC in Europe.

The time frames for these communities are immense. Much bigger than anything else any one of us could ever comprehend. People lived in constant danger for hundreds of thousand of years until the first farming communities began roughly 12,000-10,000BC. These early humans lived and existed day after day for thousands of years doing the same exact things, trying to survive. They also had a life expectancy of about 35 years!

So what is our existence compared to that? This fragile civilization that we have right now could be toppled so quickly. To be enslaved by this paradigm is to lose our humanity. To not see the big picture, and live righteously at every moment denies the the nobility of our collective human race. Heck, I'm NOT going to starve!

Yeah, I'm scared about losing my direct deposit, but I am so psyched to touch something bigger than a $10 copay on an x-ray.

Thanks for the kind words. I'll be out of town visiting Mom in florida for the next couple weeks, so I'll try to keep up with you all....

We still need to figure out a post-crash economic system.... What should it be like???????????

Nate!! I didn't get any emails from you at all. I hope you are well. I average your previous work to get you that grade!

Keep in touch...rlc@labridge.com
